The leaders I work with are already successful. They’re high performers, building teams, navigating hard decisions. But there’s something they haven’t quite said out loud yet. A goal that feels just out of reach. A version of themselves that is still a few steps away. That’s where I come in. I work with leaders, teams, and organizations who are ready to stop going it alone and getting clear on their goals, understanding what’s been getting in the way, and learning to lead in a way that feels like them.
My path to coaching was built through years of experience in high performing environments. I was the person in the room paying attention to what made some leaders effective, which teams thrived, and what quietly unraveled others. Most people are capable of more than they've given space to discover and most teams are falling short of their potential. I've made it my mission to do something about that.
I’ve worked in urban public schools in Texas, advised students and colleagues from over 60 countries at one of the most globally diverse universities in the world, spent six years living and working in Doha, Qatar, and worked in corporate talent development roles for global organizations. I’ve coached everyone from college students stepping into their first leadership role to senior executives navigating what comes next. A wind farm manager in Kansas. An executive advisor in England. Leaders in boardrooms and leaders in the field. What I’ve found is that the questions that matter most are remarkably consistent regardless of the industry, the title, or the zip code.
I hold a PCC credential from the International Coaching Federation, which speaks to the rigor and care I bring to every coaching relationship. My husband Christopher and I have relocated four times, including internationally, which makes me a bit of an expert at transitions. We are also avid DIYers who have remodeled three homes and a boat, which I mention only because it turns out rebuilding a boat engine and coaching a leader through a career transition require exactly the same thing: the willingness to get into the hard parts and not walk away until it works. And this is our pup Poppy!
This is where the deepest work happens. Together, we get specific about your goals, uncover the strengths you’re already leading with, and work through whatever has been standing between you and what you actually want to achieve. What you walk away with is clarity, a plan, and the kind of confidence to make it happen.
A course for the manager who knows they need more than instinct to lead well. I teach the core skills of effective leadership across six practical modules, so you walk away with a real toolkit, not a theory.
For the team that is already good and wants to be great. I design and facilitate experiences that help teams build real trust, communicate with clarity, and make the most of every person in the room. From 90-minute sessions to full-day retreats.
Sometimes what you need doesn’t fit a package. Let’s talk about what you’re working on and build something that truly fits your need.
It starts with a discovery call. We spend about an hour together so you can share what’s going on, ask me anything, and get a real feel for how I work. If it’s a good fit for both of us, we build a coaching experience designed specifically around your goals.
From there, sessions are yours to direct. You bring what’s most alive for you, and I bring the perspective, the questions, and the honest observations that are hard to get from anyone else in your world. Between sessions, the work continues. Sometimes that looks like a specific action you’ve committed to. Sometimes it’s simply paying attention differently.
I worked with Laura during one of the most difficult periods of my career. I was burnt out, had lost my passion, and felt like I was just going through the motions. I was at a crossroads considering law school or a nonprofit role, and I had no clarity on what I actually wanted. Through thoughtful questioning and helping me visualize different scenarios, she guided me to discover my own answers. I left our work together with genuine confidence in my decision and a renewed sense of purpose. If you’re facing a difficult time in your career, I’d highly recommend working with Laura.
Laura brings a rare combination of insight, challenge, and authenticity to her coaching. Laura has a natural ability to create trust, ask the right questions, and get to the root of difficult conversations in a way that leads to real clarity and growth.Through Laura’s coaching, I became more reflective as a leader, more self-aware, and more intentional about how I show up professionally. Laura consistently challenged me to think deeper, lead better, and not settle for surface-level answers. The impact of Laura’s coaching has been lasting, and I would strongly recommend Laura to any leader looking to grow in a genuine and meaningful way.
I took one of her management workshops and learned so much from the material she presented, but even more from the guided discussions and dialogue between Laura, myself, and my peers. I’d had management experience and leadership training before taking Laura’s course, but learned so much more about how I can fine tune my skills, better serve my employees, and more effectively apply my past experiences to my current and future roles. No matter how experienced you are, you WILL learn something from Laura and her skills as a facilitator turn the curriculum into a true learning experience.
Through our coaching conversations, I learned how to navigate complex team dynamics more productively, lead difficult conversations with confidence, and create stronger working relationships despite those differences. What I appreciated most about Laura's coaching was that it was not tied to a performance evaluation, a prescribed professional development plan, or organizational expectations. It was a space dedicated entirely to growth. Our sessions allowed me to process both immediate leadership situations and larger life decisions in a way that was thoughtful, honest, and actionable.
I lead an R&D team who supports our company’s technical understanding of the key markets that our customers participate in. Our team is very new to our roles and to industry itself. Laura greatly strengthened our team by facilitating multiple sessions that focused on better self-understanding and how our individual personalities come together as a cohesive group. In leading these discussions, I was impressed with how Laura could create the conversation and step back to allow the team to naturally move forward.
Through her coaching, I was able to understand my strengths and where best to apply them, identify my weaknesses and how to address them, but most importantly she mentored me through various techniques to become a well-rounded leader.
Working with Laura has had a major impact on both my professional and personal development, and my overall team's development. She has helped me with the big and small picture - from career path and overall goals to day to day managing and leadership tactics that have helped me become a more well-rounded and confident leader. I look forward to partnering and working with Laura far into the future, and would strongly recommend her to anyone considering working with her for individual or team development.
Leadership is one of those things that rewards the people willing to be curious, try out new ways of doing things, and see what sticks. This is a space for the ideas, frameworks, and honest observations I come back to in my coaching work. Whether you’re managing your first team or leading an organization, there’s something here worth considering.
Whether you’re exploring coaching for yourself, looking for a facilitator for your team, or just want to talk through what’s going on, I’d love to hear from you. The first conversation is free, and I respond to every message personally.
